I enjoyed this movie too! I think it's a natural progression of what a Predator sequel should have been. The stakes are higher, the situation more dire. And it fits in, with the twist that they're on an alien planet, that's a cool way to up the ante and makes sense.

I think having a diverse cast is fine when it’s not added in just to get brownie points or say “hey look at us praise us please we totaly care about poc and queers!!” But not enough to make them likeable and good developed characters. One good example of a adult animation with a diverse cast that’s not in your face about it and written well in my opinion is Castelvania, even the new one nocturn, the only issue I have with nocturn is the drop in the quality of animation. I know you said you think annnet is insufferable but personally I disagree, I think she kinda had a reason to be a bit of a ass and angry.

Sorry to say but Cera's my least favorite of the 7 and yes that includes Chomper and Ruby. That's not to say i don't like her I do, but she can be really hit or miss. She causes problems for the group so many times and the amount of times she sucks up to her dad is especially annoying. Who is also not a good leader, yes he takes charge but he does'nt like listening to anyone else's opinions and he demands they respect his rules rather than talk it out. It does'nt matter if he's got good points if you scream at people and insult them while making those points those people are less likely to want to listen. A good leader never thinks their above anyone else. Petrie's by contrast is very helpful and loyal to his friends, he's gotten them out of danger more than once. Is always willing to step up when it's needed and even when he comes into conflict with them in a future movie it's for a good and understandable reason. Also unlike Cera he grows past his blind faith in the one he looks up to and can actually call the person out which Cera rarely does with her dad.

Do not watch White god (a german film). It's like planet of the apes but with dogs, watching the main's character dog going from a sweet creature to revenge cujo from the dogs fights it's heartbreaking

Kenji looks sad because he pretty much always was. From the show his father neglected him and he had no real friends. Once he got trapped on the Island with the others he started to form true friendships only to betray them for his father to then betray his father for his friends. As they all drifted apart he's now lost his father and his friends. That's my take on it.

Heather Hogan I think did pretty good as Ducky but she tried a bit too hard to copy what Judith did so sometimes she'll deliver a line that's a bit forced but it's not so often that it's a huge problem. I still like her Ducky pretty well, as for the movie itself I think 2 and 3 are some of the weaker movies only down to some minor pacing issues and from it being clear they were trying to find the right groove to be in with the sequels which I think Roy Allen Smith nailed with 4 pretty well. Oddly enough i think 2 and 3 have opposite problems. 2 moves a bit too fast in some scenes whereas 3 drags in some spots, however there's enough good in both that I can say their at least 7.5/10 so definetly good movies just needed some tightning up, the only sequel I think is legit bad is 13.
